Valuation Analyst

About the job

As a Valuation Analyst, your role will involve performing valuation analysis on various public and private entities across different industries. You will be responsible for designing and utilizing financial models such as discounted cash flow, market multiple, and market transaction models. Your duties will also include independently gathering relevant data through direct client interactions and presenting analysis results in a clear and concise manner. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and publications for both current and potential clients. Additionally, you will conduct thorough research on clients, industries, markets, and competitors. Qualifications: - Bachelors/Masters degree in finance, accounting, business, or applied economics - Minimum of 2 years of recent experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word - Strong time management and organizational skills - Self-starter with collaborative, creative, and outgoing qualities, possessing strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills - Completed coursework in accounting, finance, and/or economics - Solid qualitative and quantitative research and analytical abilities - Fundamental understanding of financial valuation and lost profits theory, methodologies, and applications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment with exceptional work ethic.
