Job Title : Visiting Faculty – Blockchain Technology & Data Science Location : Mumbai (Patkar–Varde College, Goregaon West) Institute : SDBI (School of Data and Business Intelligence) Role Description :We are inviting applications for the position of Visiting Faculty – Blockchain Technology & Data Science. The selected faculty will teach concepts that combine blockchain fundamentals with data science applications, empowering students to understand decentralized systems, smart contracts, and the role of blockchain in data security, transparency, and analytics.Key Responsibilities : • Deliver interactive lectures and practical sessions on Blockchain Technology and Data Science. • Cover topics such as blockchain architecture, smart contracts, data integration, and decentralized applications. • Guide students in applying data science techniques (data cleaning, modeling, visualization) to blockchain datasets. • Develop and update course materials, lab exercises, and projects aligned with academic and industry standards. • Introduce students to real-world blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger). • Mentor students in project work, emphasizing blockchain use cases in AI, IoT, and Big Data. • Stay current with advancements in blockchain ecosystems, decentralized data systems, and Web3. Qualifications : • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. • Proven industry or academic experience in Blockchain Technology and Data Science. • Familiarity with blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger) and programming (Python, Solidity, R). • Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics frameworks is an added advantage. • Prior teaching or training experience preferred. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts for students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields
• Proven industry or academic experience in Blockchain Technology and Data Science
• Familiarity with blockchain platforms and programming (Python, Solidity, R)
• Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics frameworks
