Web Application Backend Developer (m/f/x) Job ID: req2162 For our subsidiary BAUER Corporate Services Private Limited in Mumbai, India we are searching for a new IT team member as an Application Developer - Workflow and Process Automation (m/f/x). Your Tasks - Implementation of backend-application-logic/API-development by designing and delivering robust, secure, and scalable solutions that form the foundation of our web platforms - Work hands-on with Core PHP, modern PHP frameworks, and relational databases to build reliable backend solutions that meet high performance and security standards - Build efficient, testable, and reusable modules and applications to ensure resilient architectures and future-ready scalability - Work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to contribute to architectural decisions, translate requirements into well-structured deliverables, and ensure smooth progress across all projects - Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle including design, implementation, deployment, optimization, and continuous improvement of backend systems Your Profile - Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent education - Several years professional experience as a Web Application Backend Developer; senior-level hands-on experience required - Experience in Core-PHP programming (not only frameworks) and knowledge of modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, CodeIgniter, Laravel) - Experience in database design and programming (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL), GIT/code deployment strategies, and webserver systems (Apache HTTP Server, IIS, Azure Web Apps) - Fluent English in writing and speaking; ability to work independently, in Agile/Scrum environments, and collaboratively in a team We Offer You - Attractive remuneration package - Medical Insurance - Gratuity Payment for long service - Annual Paid Leave – 30 days - Festival Leave – 12 days Your Contact Person Marco Fischer, +49 (8252)97-3546
