As a Web Designer / Front-End Developer in our company based in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing visually appealing, responsive, and high-performance websites. Your expertise in modern web technologies and solid understanding of UI/UX principles will be instrumental in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop visually engaging and responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate wireframes and concepts into functional web layouts. - Create, edit, and optimise images and graphics using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools. - Ensure websites load quickly by optimising assets, code, and overall performance. - Implement SEO best practices to enhance search engine visibility and rankings. - Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility with responsive web design techniques. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve UI, layout, and styling issues. - Maintain brand consistency and design standards across all web projects. - Work with modern UI/UX design tools such as Figma or equivalent platforms. • *Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar image-editing software. - Familiarity with Figma or other modern UI/UX design tools. - Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. - Basic knowledge of SEO, performance optimisation, and accessibility best practices. - Valuable eye for design, typography, colour, and layout. - Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team workplace. In addition, if you have experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar, basic understanding of version control systems (Git), or knowledge of UI/UX best practices and user-centered design, it would be considered as a plus.
