Role Summary:- A Windchill Business Analyst is responsible for enhancing and optimizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes by leveraging expertise in PTC Windchill. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, design solutions, implement system enhancements, and ensure effective use of Windchill across the organization. Key Responsibilities Business Process Analysis: Evaluate existing business processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements within PLM operations. Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, IT and other stakeholders to gather requirements and document them in the form of user stories, functional specifications, etc. Solution Design & Implementation: Design Windchill-based solutions including configuration, customization, and integration with enterprise systems (ERP/CAD). Testing & Validation: Prepare and execute test plans such as UAT to validate system changes and ensure alignment with business needs. User Support & Training: Provide end-user support, conduct training sessions, and promote system adoption for new functionalities. Project Management Support: Assist in planning, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and ensuring successful execution of Windchill PLM projects. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent. Practical experience in PTC Windchill PLM modules such as PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink. Experience in CAD data management and system integrations (preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Good understanding of PLM concepts, processes & data flow. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum is an advantage.
