Job Title: WordPress Developer (Frontend + Backend) Location: Gurugram (On-site) About the Role: We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with 2–3 years of experience who can handle both frontend and backend development. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and user experience. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins • Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web interfaces • Customize themes/plugins based on business requirements • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO • Integrate third-party APIs and tools • Deploy code across environments (Development, Staging, Production) • Troubleshoot and debug issues across frontend and backend • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness • Collaborate with design, QA, and product teams • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code Required Skills: • 2–3 years of experience in WordPress development • Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins • Proficiency in: • PHP • HTML5, CSS3 • JavaScript (jQuery) • MySQL Hands-on Experience With: • Custom WordPress theme & plugin development • Page builders like Elementor / WPBakery • Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) • Deployment tools (FileZilla or similar) • Working across environments (Dev, Staging, Production) Frontend & UI Skills: • Strong understanding of responsive design • Ability to convert UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect web pages • Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS Good to Have: • WooCommerce / WordPress Multisite • REST APIs / Headless WordPress • Basic knowledge of hosting & server management • CI/CD exposure What We’re Looking For: • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Attention to detail and ownership mindset • Ability to work independently and in a team
